The answer was Business Lift , an e-newsletter and website that advises members on how to improve their business performance. Designed and developed by BHP, Business Lift has been very well received by members.

SAFEcontractor provides a pre-qualification safety assessment service for contractors in a range of industries, from property and construction to retail, leisure and manufacturing.

Strong foundation

Darran Hughes, SAFEcontractor operations director, explains: “We wanted to provide our members with general business advice that would help them develop their businesses.”

BHP designed, built and delivered a website and integrated e-newsletter which is sent every few weeks to SAFEcontractor members; it features topical articles on key business tasks such as marketing, planning, recruitment and sales. Each feature link drives traffic to the website, which contains more than 2,000 pages of searchable, practical articles and advice tailored to the needs of small businesses.
